BC Vault Application v3.0.0
v3.0.0 Changelog
Version 3.0.0 introduces long-awaited support for Cardano DREPs. It also enables the use of operating system (OS) biometrics for secure password storage and extends support for Tron. Additionally, all known bugs have been squashed, and substantial performance optimizations have been applied. This version also marks a significant step toward the mobile app.
Highlights
Cardano DREP support
You can now finally participate in Cardano on-chain governance. You have three options: abstain from voting, issue a no-confidence vote, or select your representative. Additionally, this enables you to withdraw all your accumulated staking rewards.
Use operating system biometrics
If you’d like to securely store your global and/or wallet passwords on your computer, you can now do so with biometrics. While biometrically stored passwords are considered secure by OS standards, it’s important to note that nothing is 100% secure. PIN’s that are entered on the device itself are not stored and you still have to enter them on the device. As always – it is essential to never forget your passwords, even if you store them with biometrics. Better safe than sorry!
